eHungry can provide your restaurant with a personally branded Apple IOS App at no additional charge from eHungry. Due to the nature of our business and the fact that we designed a universal online ordering system, our Apps are developed from a template that was designed by our Development Team. The Apps directly link to your online ordering account and any changes you make to your account (menu, etc) are automatically seen in the App.

So Why Do I need My Own Developer Account?

The Apple App Store has specific review guidelines that all App Developers must follow or the App will rejected.

To be specific, you will want to view their guideline 4.2 Minimum Functionality that includes the guideline number 4.2.6 that states: "Apps created from a commercialized template or app generation service will be rejected unless they are submitted directly by the provider of the app’s content."

The app content is considered your restaurant content and online ordering service, regardless of the company that is providing the online ordering service.

Apple does mention that another option would be to provide a single app, such as a "picker" model or a restaurant finder app. eHungry does not provide this type of app because we believe that you have a right to have a personally branded online ordering app that we develop for you at no additional cost. Many of our clients choose eHungry because of the personal branding features that we have available with our service, which include: customized domains (that you own), the ability to fully control your account and the design features, and an App Icon with YOUR LOGO!

Will this Cost an Additional Fee?

Yes, an Apple Developer Account is $99 a year, paid directly to Apple. You will need to enroll as an Organization and you can get started below or see our help article that will give you step-by-step instruction on how to enroll as an Apple Developer.
